"Are We Friends?" was first aired on Austrian national TV station Puls 4 and quickly climbed to 5.000 streams in two months. It all began when Max showed his sister (Anna Rosa) an idea from the last rehearsal and she quickly had a chorus to this song. After a writing session and lots of coffee, the song was finished. It clearly had to be a duet between Anna and Chris and so it lead to the song we all know today. Toxic relationships, miscommunication and mental health are the main topic in this song.
